This spot some folks refer to as lingcod alley, and for good reason. Lots of big Grand Ma and Grand Pa Lings here. Anchoring close to shore on a shelf about 40 feet down leads to a wall that drops off 70 to 90 feet. No vacant real estate here, thick Pulmose, kelp greenlings and sea urchin cover the wall and sandy bottom. Current is a big issue here, don't miss the slack be in the water 20 minutes before slack and out by no later that 20 minutes after. A live boat is the safest way to dive this location.
