Three Sisters

This is a very cool location, three Pinnacles in deep water right in the middle of Stuart Channel.

This is really live boat dive if your not familiar with the are and conditions.

We have anchored here but the hook comes to rest at 80 to 90 feet down, despite the fact the chart indicates 60 feet.

Once you get down you will be very surprised at what you will find, Sea cucumber, Sea urchin green and reds everywhere. Plumose anemones along the ridge.

We have only started to explore this location, I imagine we could do dozens of dives and only scratch the surface. There are three pinnacles  which is why our dive buddies Ryan and Graham have called it the Three Sisters. The middle one on the chart indicates a depth of 60ft I have not found this part yet. We have anchored on  a plateau between two ridges and explored the length of the ridges and the plateau in the center. Either side of the ridges it drops off into the dark Abyss 300 feet on one side 160 on the other. We have sing ling cod, Tiger rock fish, as well as the regular mix of rock fish and greenlings.

Very cool dives, for the experienced diver.

Photos to come soon.
